Our mission in offering employment and business formation services is to help students develop and maintain healthy workplace relationships.

When workplace disputes arise, we can help students navigate workplace discrimination, harassment, hostile work environment and retaliation claims under the Ohio Civil Rights Act and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act. Additionally, we provide guidance on employee discipline, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), Ohio Whistleblower Statute and the Fair Labor Standards Act (regarding wages and overtime). We also help students understand and navigate pregnancy and maternity leave policies.

When students are terminated, we can handle unemployment hearings and wrongful termination claims. We can also negotiate severance agreements. We can also help with the interpretation and/or enforcement of non-compete, non-solicitation and non-disclosure agreements, which may apply after the employment relationship has ended.

We represent clients in mediation and arbitration, and in matters before the Ohio Civil Rights Commission (OCRC), Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), and federal and state courts in Ohio.

Mark Weiker is an Amazing Attorney! Not only did he win my case against the State of Ohio with unemployment, which was a very difficult case from the beginning, but also made himself available to me through out the whole process. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a GREAT ATTORNEY!
